Blake Shelton Plays Free Surprise Show

It's the tweet that launched thousands of country fans toward a club in a small Southern city.

"Greenville, South Carolina . . . You!!!!!! Blind horse saloon tonight!!! Be there." Blake Shelton tweeted that message Thursday afternoon (March 21) and by Thursday night, thousands were lined up outside the Blindhorse Saloon, capturing the attention of local media.

The tweets started with Blake saying that he was gonna do some work on the farm, but then it started raining.

"Hey . . .  I know!!!! Maybe I should just set up somewhere and play country music FOR FREE ALL NIGHT LONG. Like we did back in the old days," Blake tweeted next.

And voilà—free show.

It must've gone well: Around 2 or 3 a.m. Friday morning, Blake tweeted: "Thank you Greenville. . . .That's how to party!!!
