Blake Shelton to Join NBC’s The Voice

Shelton, Blake 2011

Blake Shelton announced via Twitter—of course—that he’s gonna be a judge on yet another national TV singing competition.

He’ll join Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine on NBC's The Voice, to be hosted by Carson Daly. Those four will pick folks from blind auditions and then try to mold them into superstars.

Ya might recall that Blake was part of NBC's Clash of the Choirs a few years back.

Blake already is starting to have fun via his Twitter account with his new role. A fan named TazKitty offered her view that the heavily inked Adam Levine has more “tats” than Blake does.

You can imagine what Blake’s response was.
