Blake Shelton Gets the Last Laugh

You might recall that Blake Shelton and Simon Cowell had a bit of a spat when their respective shows, The Voice and The X-Factor, launched this season.

Simon complained when The Voice extended its premiere week to overlap with the season premiere for The X-Factor, calling the move "coldhearted" and "unprofessional."

Blake shot back, via Access Hollywood: "Every time I turn around the guy is mouthing off!" he said, adding, "Don't y'all wish y'all had time to bitch and moan like that guy?"

Looks like Blake gets the last laugh this time. The numbers for the season finales are in, and The Voice finale pulled in 14 million viewers to The X-Factor's 9.7 million viewers.

Of course, both shows are probably happy that American Idol only has one season a year that runs in the spring. Idol's finales always draw more than 20 million viewers.
