You have to give Blake Shelton lots of credit for being the winning coach—twice—on NBC's The Voice.

And Blake wants a little more credit: he says he's the reason Kelly Clarkson just got engaged.

You see, Kelly's beau is Brandon Blackstock, who just so happens to be Blake's manager. Blake tells hollyscoop.com that he twisted Brandon's arm to put a ring on Kelly's finger.

“I told Brandon, man, you need to grow up and you figure out that you need to marry this girl,” Blake said, adding that he even offered to sing at the wedding.

"I am going on the record saying I will do the music at the wedding or whatever you want to do, I’ll be that guy,” he says. “I will play for four hours if I have to, 'cause you need to get you head out of your ass and ask that girl to marry you.”

Who could refuse such a charming offer?
