Lovebirds Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert nearly tied the knot about six months ago, according to close friend of the couple, Ronnie Dunn. It turns out that Ronnie, along with Reba McEntire, nearly convinced the engaged couple to have a Vegas wedding.

During a recent interview with Seattle radio station KMPS, Ronnie revealed, “We were out with [Blake and Miranda] in Vegas about six months ago with Reba and [her husband] Narvel [Blackstock] at dinner. Reba and I were feeling pretty good, and we were egging them on. We were going to take them to one of those little wedding chapels!”

It seems that Ronnie and Reba are a pretty convincing duo. "[Blake and Miranda] were ready to do it. Honestly! Narvel [who is Blake and Reba's manager] thought we should probably stop it . . . but they were ready to go. They were gonna do it!” said Ronnie.

A spring wedding is planned.
