Blake Lands Footloose Title Track Remake

Country artists are all through the remade movie soundtrack.

Big props to Blake Shelton, who got to remake the title song for the remake of the dance movie Footloose, according to Entertainment Weekly. That song was first done by Kenny Loggins.

But Blake’s not the only country artist on the soundtrack for this version of the movie, which stars country singer/dancer Julianne Hough, who, ironically, isn’t on the soundtrack at all.

Zac Brown Band covers “Where the River Goes,” and the new Big & Rich/Gretchen Wilson song, “Fake I.D.,” is included as well.

The new Footloose movie is out Oct. 14, and you can see the trailer below.
