Blake Helps NASCAR Pal Open Community Center

Country star once tweeted one-finger salute to Clint Bowyer—and now Blake’s singing for him.

Looks like Blake Shelton and NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer have a love-haze relationship.

You may recall that almost a year ago, Blake posted a pic of a special salute he gave Clint in the pits.

All's fair in love and Twitter: Clint asked Blake to play an acoustic set Tuesday night (June 26) to help celebrate the opening of a community center in Clint's hometown of Emporia, Kan.

Blake helped host a Q&A with Clint and fans at a VIP reception inside the new Bowyer Community Building, the Associated Press reports. Then Blake played an acoustic set outside.

''Obviously, in my hometown, that building is something we are very proud of,'' Clint said. ''And Blake, he killed it as always. It was really more of an intimate show, and it really showed his talents. Man, we had a good time.''
