Blake Blasts TV.com Blogger Who Criticized a Voice Contestant

Blake calls the blogger a “chicken s--t” after blogger attacks 17-year-old RaeLynn’s singing on The Voice.

Blake Shelton is a coach, a judge, a mentor and a big ol' papa bear on NBC's The Voice.

And Papa Bear got fired up when a blogger from tv.com attacked 17-year-old contestant RaeLynn after the country girl made it through another round on Team Blake.

"I'm sorry y'all but I can't stand a chicken s--t!" Blake tweeted Wednesday (April 4).

The blogger, MaryAnn Sleasman, wrote that after "Team Cee Lo's Erin Martin, RaeLynn has the voice that makes me cringe the hardest. . . .

"There is no way, America—no way," she continued, "that her floppy, incomprehensible rendition of 'Wake Up Call' was better than Jordis Unga's 'Alone.'"

Blake linked to Sleasman's post, and tweeted, "What kind of person is low enough to write mean things about a 17 year old girl just trying to do her best?"

In a separate tweet, Blake wrote, "Can you believe a grown adult feels good about making a living trashing kids following their dreams while hiding behind their laptop? Sad."
