They call the Academy of Country Music Awards "Country Music's Party of the Year." And Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will make sure that the show lives up to that description when the two stars unite to host the 48th Annual ACM Awards April 7, to be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

This will mark Blake's third year hosting the gala, but his first with a new co-host since longtime emcee Reba McEntire announced to Country Weekly in September that she was stepping down. Enter Luke, who, after co-hosting last summer's CMA Music Festival taped special on ABC, will make his debut as host of a live event.

The Academy of Country Music has also announced some exciting news for the 3rd Annual ACM Fan Jam, taking place across town at the Orleans Arena. Brad Paisley will host the event, which will feature live performances by Brad and other stars during the award-show telecast. Details about the lineup will be announced soon, but fans can tweet to unlock a special message from Brad, which will be delivered to them immediately after they tweet, by visiting the ACM Social Splash page at

As in years past, the Academy of Country Music will also tape an all-star concert TV special on Monday, April 8, the day following the awards, to air at a later date on CBS.

In a poll, we asked you to guess who Blake's ACMs co-host would be. See how you voted!
