BLACKHAWK'S VAN STEPHENSON DIES

After a valiant fight against cancer, former BlackHawk member Van Stephenson died peacefully at his Nashville home Monday (April 9).

Van underwent surgery to battle skin cancer two years ago and decided to leave BlackHawk shortly after, both to fight his illness and to spend time with his wife, Karen, and their three children, Katie, Julie and Wes.

Van was 47 years old.
