Black Is Back

Clint Black’s new single, “The Strong One,” is the first one of his career that he didn’t have a hand in writing. "It's one of those songs I wish I had written," says Clint, who plans to release a new album this fall. Penned by Bill Luther, Don Poythress and Chuck Jones, “The Strong One” is a salute to the strength of single mothers. "Women who are doing it alone can relate to the song's message,” says Clint. “But I think guys will like it, too."
