Birthday Bash Turns Into Music Row Wedding

Ya might not normally think of Toby Keith as a matchmaker, but now he is.

A guy from Trailer Choir and a gal from sister act Carter’s Chord got married at a Nashville club last night (Sept. 6)—and no one was more surprised than all the folks who were there.

The Labor Day get-together started as a birthday party for Butter, from the trio Trailer Choir. But much to the guests’ surprise, it suddenly morphed into his wedding, to his girlfriend, Emily, of Carter’s Chord.

“It was beautiful, romantic,” said one attendee.

The blessed event happened at the club 12th & Porter, a small venue mostly known for showcases and rock shows.

Butter and Emily met because both were on Toby Keith’s label, Show Dog Nashville, which is now known as Show Dog-Universal. No word on whether Toby was the preacher or if he was even there.
