Billy Currington Releases “Hey Girl” Video

Billy takes you behind the scenes of the hot clip, shot in Nashville.

Billy Currington is riding high on the charts with one of the hottest singles of his career, "Hey Girl," and now he's released an equally steamy video for the tune. The video, shot in downtown Nashville, captures the carefree, fun-loving spirit of the single, which sold more downloads in its first week than any of Billy's previous songs. Watch the clip below.

Billy recently revealed what drew him to "Hey Girl" in a chat with Country Weekly. "I remember the demo blowing me away," he says of the infectious tune. "I relate it to when we were kids. My friends and I would walk down the beach and, as goofy as it sounds, the perfect way to start a conversation is just to say, 'Hey, girl.'"

Billy also talks about his upcoming new album, We Are Tonight, in the July 22 issue of Country Weekly, on sale July 15.
