Billboard Music Awards Finalists Announced

Taylor Swift is among the artists leading the finalists for the upcoming 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live Sunday, May 19, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

With 11 total nods, Taylor is in a three-way tie with fun. and Maroon 5 for most-nominated act. Addtionally, Taylor and Maroon 5 will go head to head in the Top Artist category, along with Justin Bieber, One Direction and Rihanna.

Among the categories to include Taylor are the all-genre Top Billboard 200 Album (for Red), Top Female Artist, Top Digital Songs and Top Hot 100 Artist. Jason Aldean also ended up a finalist for the all-genre Top Male Artist, as well as Top Country Album for Night Train. A partial list of finalists appears below. Tracy Morgan will host the May 19 ceremony, which will feature performances by Taylor, Justin, Bruno Mars and Miguel.
