BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS

Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood lead the country star nominees at the Billboard Music Awards, Monday night, Dec. 4, on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.

Rascal Flatts captured nominations in five categories, including the all-genre Artist of the Year and Duo/Group of the Year. Plus, the trio along with Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney are the three nominees for Country Artist of the Year. Carrie is up for Female Country Artist of the Year with Faith Hill and Gretchen Wilson. Carrie’s CD Some Hearts picked up nods for Album of the Year, covering all genres of music, as well as Country Album of the Year. The show airs live from Las Vegas.
