"Healing in the Heartland" to be held in Oklahoma City on May 29

Big & RichÂs ÂBig Kenny Alphin shows off his cooking skills on NBCÂs weeklong series, Celebrity Cooking Showdown, which starts Monday, April 17, at 9 p.m. ET.
The show pairs entertainment celebrities with famous chefs, and the stars will get one-on-one coaching from their chef partner, go through a culinary Âboot camp and then prepare a meal in front of a large audience. ÂI thought this would be really fun, said Kenny, who maintains that he is a better-than-average cook. ÂI like learning a few tricks from the masters. You can catch one of KennyÂs creations from the show in the May 22 issue of Country Weekly, on sale May 8.
