Best Cellars a Big Success

Martina McBride, Jake Owen, Amy Grant and other celebrities helped raise more than $160,000 for the T.J. Martell Foundation at the Tenth Annual Best Cellars Dinner, April 27, at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville.

The event has become known for pairing Best Sellers, country music’s top selling artists and other celebrities, with Best Cellars, Nashville’s most noted wine collectors. Also attending the gala event were Jamey Johnson, Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, Heidi Newfield, actor Billy Baldwin, Big Kenny, Kellie Pickler, Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook of Little Big Town, Michelle Branch and Sarah Buxton. Guest chef Dean Fearing, chef/partner of Fearing’s at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, created a spectacular menu which was paired with an extraordinary selection of wines from top wine collectors of Nashville and beyond. The T.J. Martell Foundation is a leading center for cancer research. The event raised funds specifically for the Frances Williams Preston Laboratories at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville.
