In a previous item on CountryWeekly.com, we told you the story of Savannah Leigh Burns, the daughter of performer Keith Burns. Keith, a former member of Trick Pony, now comprises one-half of the duo Burns & Poe with Michelle Poe.

Savannah and her family recently found out that she suffers from a rare form of leukemia, and just a few weeks ago she went into a coma. Today, she remains hospitalized in an Atlanta facility but is slowly regaining her strength.

On May 10, Keith's celebrity friends, including his former Trick Pony bandmates Heidi Newfield and Ira Dean, will perform at a benefit in Nashville called Second Chance: Friends in Music Against Leukemia. The show will help raise money for Savannah's treatment and will be held at The Listening Room in Nashville.

Also on the bill are Darryl Worley and Josh Thompson, among other acts. If you can't attend but would like to help, please visit savannahbwell.com.
