The Band Perry Wants to Launch Nashville’s July 4 Fireworks

Trio will be headlining Independence Day concert, but that’s not enough.

It’s pretty cool that The Band Perry will be headlining Nashville’s annual Fourth of July bash Thursday, but it’s not enough.

It’s pretty cool that it’ll be the first time the family trio plays with a full orchestra, but, again, it’s not quite enough.

So what else do Kimberly, Reid and Neil want?

“Well,” Neil told reporters recently, “usually on the Fourth of July, Reid, Dad and myself are in charge of the fireworks.

“So I’m hoping I get my hand on the firework button during the Nashville show,” he added.

Oh boy.

“Beware, Nashville,” Kimberly said.

Added Reid: “Don’t shoot ’em all off at once.”
