The Band Perry Wants Another Pop Radio Hit

The Band Perry enjoyed a big pop crossover hit a few years back with “If I Die Young.” And they liked it, they loved it, they want some more of it, now that they've released their new Pioneer album.

“I do know there are some plans for what we call the spillover from country radio,” Kimberly tells ABC News Radio. “So, keep your ears peeled for some pop crossover.”

Meanwhile, the sibling trio is really happy to keep dancing with the ones that brung ’em, country radio, which allows them to try different styles of music.

“You’ve got your rock country, you’ve got folk country, you've got pop country,” Kimberly says.

“I do feel like if Tom Petty or Springsteen came out today, they would be on country radio. I call it the last rock and roll frontier. So, I’m just so excited that they’re accommodating both our folky side and our roots rock as well.”
