Band Perry Sibs Salute Their Motor-Home-Drivin' Mama

"Her claim to fame was that she could drive that thing," Kimberly says.

The Band Perry truly is a family business. Sure, it's made up of two brothers and a lead-singing sister, Kimberly.

And back in the early days, Mom was part of the act, too, serving as the trio's tour bus driver.

"And one of her favorite things," Kimberly tells ABC News Radio to mark Mother's Day (May 13), "she was so proud because we had, like, this 35-foot motor home plus trailer, and she could back that puppy up anywhere.

"I mean . . . her claim to fame was that she could drive that thing," Kimberly continues. "She's not the bus driver these days, but she still travels with us."
