They’ve already earned a mantel full of awards, a string of No. 1 hits and a platinum album. Plus, this past weekend, they performed at FOX’s Super Bowl Tailgate Party pregame show. So if you were an aspiring singer, wouldn’t you listen to what they have to say?

That’s why Blake Shelton tapped The Band Perry to advise Team Blake during the Battle Rounds of Season 6 of The Voice. “Blake didn’t have to ask us twice if we wanted to mentor his team this season on The Voice,” said The Band Perry in a statement. “It was so much fun to work with Team Blake, and after 15 years of receiving plenty of ‘constructive criticism,’ it was our turn to pay it forward. We just hope we were as helpful to Blake’s team as our own mentors have been to us through the years.”

NBC’s The Voice makes its season debut on Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

And look for The Band Perry on the 40th Anniversary re-mastered edition of Elton John’s iconic Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album with their version of “Grey Seal.” The album hits stores March 24.
