The Band Perry Cruises Down the Road With Jars of Sand

Song lyrics have dozens of fans sending sand—oh, and asking each other to get married.

The Band Perry has a No. 1 hit with "All Your Life," but it's not just a song, folks. It's apparently a call to action.

You know that lyricWould you walk to the edge of the ocean just to fill my jar with sand? That has motivated dozens of fans to send jars of sand to the band, the trio told CMT Radio Live's Cody Alan.

"And we got sent a jar with a firefly in it as well," lead singer Kimberly Perry said.

Oh, but that's not all. The band has seen all sorts of videos and heard all sorts of stories about guys using "All Your Life" when they propose. And it has even happened right in front of the band.

Kimberly and her two brothers were playing a gig for a radio station's contest winners, and three feet in front of the band, a guy got on his knee and proposed to his lady.

"Luckily, she said yes!" Kimberly told Cody.
