The Band Perry Assists Kentucky Family Devastated by Fire

Trio offers to pay funeral expenses of those lost in tragic house blaze.

The Band Perry, sibling trio Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry, is helping out a Kentucky family in its time of need. The band is paying the funeral expenses for the Watson family of Central City, Ky. The Watsons lost eight children, and the children's mother, in an early-morning house fire on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The father and a daughter of the family survived the tragic fire and remain in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville. More than 100 people gathered at the Calvary Baptist Church in Central City on Friday for a candlelight vigil in memory of their friends.

Several memorial funds have been set up for others willing to help, along with one via Facebook here.
