Country Weekly is happy to hear that Ashley Monroe is returning to touring after canceling last weekend’s shows when it was determined that she had a kidney infection. That included dates in New York; Baltimore; Newton, N.J.; and more.

On her website, Ashley wrote:

My sweet fans,

I have to cancel the rest of the shows for this rung because of a severe kidney infection. This is very serious and I’m heading back to Nashville to go to the hospital. Thank you for understanding and please keep me in your prayers. I’m so sorry for the disappointment this will cause, but if I don’t take care of this it could risk my life. I promise I will make it up to you all.

In a statement, the “Weed Instead of Roses” singer and one-third of Pistol Annies said, “I’m finally feeling some relief after spending two nights in the hospital. I’m very grateful to everyone for their prayers and understanding during this time.”

Ashley’s first show back will be July 18 in Cincinnati and continue with July 19 in Ashland, Ky., and July 20 in Brooklyn, Mich.
