Artist of the Decade Special to Air Tonight

King George will be saluted by friends and peers on CBS

When George Strait was honored by the Academy of Country Music as its artist of the decade last month in Las Vegas, he joined a pretty exclusive group that already included Marty Robbins, Loretta Lynn, Alabama and Garth Brooks. And tonight is a night for George’s fellow artists to show how much they love him, too, in a 2-hour celebration beginning at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Alan Jackson and Martina McBride are among George’s fellow stars who'll be saluting him with their performances during the show.
