Country music devotees remember Emily West: the beautiful blonde from Iowa who first charted in 2008 with “Rocks in Your Shoes,” then appeared again in 2010 with Keith Urban on “Blue Sky.”

It may have been a while since we heard from Emily, but when this incredible vocalist opened up her pipes again during an audition for Season 9 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, judges Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, Melanie Brown and Heidi Klum sat up and listened. And voted her in.

And tonight, Emily will compete in the quarterfinals of the competition. We spoke with Emily, who called from Radio City Music Hall and said the evening should be, well, sparkling!

“I feel really good about it,” she said, delightedly. “This is the best decision I ever made in my entire life. I can say that moving to New York was one of the most difficult decisions, but it got me to start saying yes again and not overthinking it too much. Life is supposed to be lived and I’m living it in diamonds!”

Tune in tonight to see exactly what Emily is hinting at! America’s Got Talent airs on NBC at 8 p.m. ET. You can vote to move Emily forward in the competition by dialing the 8-6-6 number that will appear on the screen immediately following her performance. “You can vote up to 10 times,” she tells us.

You can also follow her on Twitter at @Westimonials and add the hashtags #VoteEmilyWest and #EmilyOnAGT. Voting continues through tomorrow at noon and results will be revealed tomorrow night.

Fingers crossed, Emily!
