Americana Hands Out Awards

Singer/songwriter Buddy Miller, Asleep at the Wheel and rock legend John Fogerty were among the top honorees at the 8th Annual Americana Music Association Honors & Awards Show, Sept. 17, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Buddy received the Artist of the Year award as well as Album of the Year for Written in Chalk. He shared Duo /Group of the Year with wife Julie Miller. Asleep at the Wheel and John Fogerty were among those receiving Lifetime Achievement Awards.
