Alison Krauss Serenades The Simpsons

Alison and band featured on historic episode.

Alison Krauss & Union Station played a part in TV history when the group performed for America's favorite cartoon family, Homer and Marge Simpson and crew, on the Feb. 19 episode of The Simpsons. They recorded a special theme song for an equally special occasion, the 500th episode of the long-running animated series on FOX-TV. The latest installment, "At Long Last Leave," followed the family as they were evicted from their hometown of Springfield and joined a community on the outskirts of town.
