ALAN'S GOSPEL CD MAKES HISTORY

Alan Jackson's new CD of gospel favorites, Precious Memories, has become the first gospel album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.

In fact, Alan finds himself atop three different charts with this CD, which was originally intended solely as a gift to his mother, Ruth. In addition to the Billboard Country Album charts, Alan is also at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums and Top Gospel Albums charts, and sits in the Top 5 in the Billboard 200, which lists all genres of music.
