ALAN JACKSON TOPPING CHARTS

For the second week in a row, Alan Jackson's Greatest Hits Volume II is at the top of Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and #3 on the all-genre chart.

The album sold 328,183 copies in its first week of sales, the highest weekly sales total for a country album release so far this year.

"I'm happy to see how my career has developed," says Jackson. "Instead of being too successful too fast, I've just been chugging along and being able to enjoy making the albums."

One project Alan is sure to have enjoyed is his duet with Jimmy Buffett, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere."

The song has been played more than any other country single -- 6,476 times last week alone -- and it's been #1 on both Billboard and Radio & Records charts for six weeks in a row.
