ALAN JACKSON SINGLE IN TOP TEN

Alan Jackson's Greatest Hits Vol. II is set for an August 12th release, but a single from the album has already made it into the top ten.

Jackson's duet with Jimmy Buffett, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," took just four weeks to climb to #7 on the charts.

About the song, Jackson says:

"Somebody pitched me that song, [and] I said 'Man! This sounds like Buffett!' Sure enough – it already had his name in there, and it sounded like him, so it just felt natural to go ahead and do the thing. And he was kind enough to sing on it."
