Alan Jackson Sends Autographed Gifts to 100-Year-Old Fan

Maine woman gets a bundle of Alan Jackson merch for her birthday party.

A picture's worth a thousand words.

Barbara Bowden of Brunswick, Maine, turned 100 years old last week (June 18)—and she did it wearing a pink Alan Jackson ballcap with an Alan Jackson T-shirt draped in front of her, the Bangor Daily News reports.

Turns out Ms. Bowden has been a fan of Alan's for decades.

So her daughter, Cheryl Sedgwick, contacted Alan's management, and the country star sent over a letter, a signed T-shirt, autographed CDs and that pink hat.

Happy birthday, Barbara!
