Alan Jackson Hits 50 Million

Alan Jackson’s album sales have just crossed the 50 million mark, according to his record label.

The singer has racked up eight multiplatinum, 14 platinum and two gold albums since his debut with Here in the Real World in 1990. “Alan’s songs and shows have propelled him to this incredible level of success,” declares Sony BMG Nashville Chairman Joe Galante. “He has never lost touch with the fans, and they’ve shown their appreciation year after year with No. 1 singles and platinum sales.”
