ALAN JACKSON BENEFIT CONCERT FOR CHILDREN'S SHELTER

Alan Jackson is scheduled to perform in a benefit concert on Saturday, October 27 to raise funds to build a children's emergency shelter.

The shelter will provide temporary housing for children who are waiting for placement in a more stable family environment.

Jackson and his wife Denise were asked to name the shelter, and they picked the name "Angel's House" because "Our prayer for each child is that heavenly and earthly angels will surround and protect them at this facility, and that they will feel truly safe and secure," said Denise Jackson.

The concert will take place in Jackson's hometown of Newnan, Georgia in the Newnan High School stadium at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.
