ALAN’S EXTREME MAKEOVER SEGMENT AIRS NOV. 4

Alan Jackson’s appearance on the ABC series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will air Nov. 4.

Alan performed a special show in Nashville Aug. 2 to help raise funds for the Hawkins family of Hendersonville, Tenn., whose home was leveled by an April tornado. The mother, Amy Hawkins, suffered permanent injuries while protecting her two young sons. The family was given a renovated home by the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition series, and viewers will see Alan’s performances of his hits “Livin’ on Love” and “Remember When” on the telecast. Alan remembers the day the tornadoes swept through the Nashville area, noting that, “My family and I always watch when there are warnings out. At the time, it was hard to see how much damage there was until you started seeing reports on the news.”
