ALABAMA UPDATE

Alabama's "The American Farewell Tour" will kick off in the summer of 2003, traveling from coast to coast.

Tickets for a special New Year's Eve show at Las Vegas' Aladdin Theatre will go on sale on Saturday September 28th, and will be available at the Aladdin box office as well as TicketMaster outlets.

A couple of songs from the New Year's Eve show will be broadcast live on Dick Clark's famous New Year's show, held in New York.

Tour promoters are promising that this year's show will be different than any other Alabama show, and that if the tour is coming to your area -- now's your chance to see the group before they end their touring days.

Along with Gibson Guitars, Country Weekly is a proud sponsor of Alabama's Farewell Tour, as well as the tour's official information source.
