Alabama Set to Release Gospel Album

…exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores

Take those thick harmonies and heartfelt lyrics and top them off with the drawl of a trio of good Southern boys, and you have Alabama. Now, take them to church and you’ve got the newest project in the prolific group’s collection of music, Angels Among Us: Hymns & Gospel Favorites—Deluxe Edition. And to make it even better, you can treat yourself to a yummy Sunday-after-church lunch when you pick it up at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores.

Available Sept. 8, Angels Among Us: Hymns & Gospel Favorites features 15 songs, including hymns like “Because He Lives” and gospel greats like “I’ll Fly Away,” along with the title track.

Alabama’s Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook said in a release, “We know our fans enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel, just like we do. We are excited to be able to have our new gospel album available where so many of our fans eat after church on Sunday.”

Can we recommend the chicken and dumplings?
