ABC Orders More Episodes of Reba’s “Malibu Country”

Reba's fans will get to see her on a major network sitcom for at least one season.

ABC announced this week it wants five more episodes of Malibu Country, which will carry the show through the spring. Due to the show's late start this season, it will get 18 episodes instead of the usual 22 episodes.

Several media outlets have reported the sitcom is getting more than 8 million viewers, which is helping ABC dominate Friday night ratings.

Reba had no reaction on Twitter to more orders for the show.

But she did plug this week's episode (airing Nov. 30): “When Reba begins feeling threatened that her daughter is sharing more of her life with Kim than with her, she resorts to text spying and trying on teen fashions to get closer to June.”

Oh, the hijinks!
