The Broadway run of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 stage musical will come to an end on Sept. 6 after only five months.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my first Broadway show,” Dolly says. “I’ve had the privilege of working with an amazing group of people who have become like family to me.” The show will nonetheless begin a national tour in September 2010, and a cast album has just been released. 9 to 5: The Musical was nominated earlier this year for four Tony awards, but won none.
