“Hero” Concert, July 17
Craig Morgan, Lonestar and Charlie Daniels head the lineup of stars for the benefit concert, Home for a Hero, July 17 at Nashville’s Greer Stadium, beginning at 7 p.m.
The concert will raise funds to build a specially structured home for Sgt. Kevin Downs, who was severely wounded in Iraq in 2005. Downs lost both legs and suffered burns on more than 60% of his body. Also featured in the concert are Joe Diffie, Collin Raye, David Lee Murphy, Paulette Carlson, the female duo Bomshel and Jamie Lee Thurston.
