Lyle Lovett Performs Jackson Browne’s “Rosie” on “The Late Late Show”
Singer considers Jackson one of “the great American songwriters.”
Lyle Lovett appeared on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson last week (April 23) to talk about the new Jackson Brown tribute album, Looking Into You: A Tribute to Jackson Browne, which he is featured on. Lyle recorded two of Jackson’s songs for the album, “Rosie” and “Our Lady of the Well.”
During the show, Craig joked that Lyle should release a musical tribute album to The Late Late Show. Now that would be interesting.
Lyle did tell Craig that he considers Jackson one of “the great American songwriters.” We tend to agree.
Other artists lending their voices to the tribute album include Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams and Bruce Hornsby.
