CW Exclusive: Ali Dee’s “Sweet Southern Song”

CMT’s Texas Women star is a singer, too!

You may know Ali Dee from the hit CMT show Texas Women or as part of the broadcast team for Fox Sports' coverage of Championship Bull Riding or maybe even from her Ali Dee Collection of clothing and accessories. Now you know her as a singer as well. Ali has just released a new single, "Sweet Southern Song," and CountryWeekly.com is pleased to exclusively premiere the video.

The second season finale of Texas Women, which airs initially at 10 p.m. ET on Friday (June 1), highlights Ali filming the music video with director Marcel Chagnon. It was shot primarily in Granbury, Texas, on a picturesque farm outside Fort Worth. The song was written by Jen Ketner, Kara McNealy and Mike Shimshack.

Ali, who also is known as the "first lady of the Dallas Mavericks" as their TV and in arena host, co-stars on Texas Women with Anna Hunt, Brooke Jeter and Hannah Helvey. She's described as "the glue that holds the girls together and can make peace when wars rage."
