Miley “Embarrassed” About Photos

Billy Ray Cyrus’ 15-year-old daughter Miley has apologized to fans for a Vanity Fair magazine article that featured photos of the teen superstar that many found racy.

One shot exposed her bare back, while another found her posed with Billy Ray in a way that some critics charge was inappropriately sexy. “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” Miley told People magazine. A Vanity Fair spokesperson countered that Miley’s “parents and/or minders” were on set for the entire shoot and raised no objections at the time. Billy Ray and Miley enjoyed a Top 10 country hit earlier this year with the duet “Ready, Set, Don’t Go.”
