Martina Helps the YWCA

Martina McBride did her part for the YWCA during CMA Music Festival, raising more than $72,000 at her auction, Saturday, June 13.

Martina held the auction at Nashville’s Hall of Fame Park as country music fans bid on memorabilia from their favorite stars. Chris Young, Jason Michael Carroll, Bo Bice and other stars participated in the auction. High ticket items included a signed Dolly Parton guitar that sold for $4,000, a quilt made of rare tour shirts signed by Martina and two VIP tickets to any Keith Urban show. Martina also offered up some personal items, including the dress she wore while performing for Stevie Wonder earlier this year at the White House. "Thank you for coming out and supporting the YWCA," Martina told the fans in attendance. “It really helps rebuild lives.”
