Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook welcomed Elijah Dylan into the world on March 5. Elijah Dylan weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz., and was 19 and a quarter inches long. Karen, who is 41, and Jimi, who is 38, were married in 2006. This is their first child.

“We’ve been waiting for this for a long time and can’t tell you how thrilled and blessed we both feel,” Karen said in a prepared statement. Bandmates Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet already each have two-year-old daughters. Kimberly is mom to Daisy Pearl with her husband, Stephen, and Phillip is dad to Penelopi Jane with his wife, Rebecca.

Little Big Town has been recording a new album and "Little White Church," their first single from the album, has been released to country radio.

The foursome will be on the road with Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson and Jack Ingram, among others, on the Country Throwdown Tour beginning in May.
