Kenny Offers Deluxe Edition CD

Kenny Chesney is including portions of his live shows to a Deluxe Fan Pack of his upcoming new CD, Lucky Old Sun, set for release Oct. 14.

The Deluxe Fan Pack will feature the songs “Boston” and “Got a Little Crazy” from Kenny’s recent concert in Foxboro, Mass., as well as “Soul of a Sailor” and “Guitars and Tiki Bars” from his show in Key West, Fla., earlier this year. The Deluxe Fan Pack will also include details for a contest called “Kick It Off With Kenny,” where two lucky winners and a guest will be flown to the opening site of Kenny’s 2009 tour, which has yet to be determined.

“Thankfully, my record label totally gets that my hard-core fans are so much a part of this, and it’s something they may want, beyond our studio release,” Kenny says of the Deluxe Fan Pack. “So, they’re allowing me to do a first-week deluxe CD . . . as something a little extra.”

The music-only edition of Lucky Old Sun, which does not include the extra material or the contest details, hits stores Oct. 21.
