Kenny 's tour raked in $71 million

Kenny Chesney sold $71.1 million worth of tickets in 2009 according to a report released on Dec. 30 by Pollstar, a music industry touring publication. Kenny's tour came in sixth among all genres and at No. 1 among country artists.
U2's tour ranked first overall with $123 million in ticket sales, followed by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band with $94.5 million. Elton John and Billy Joel's co-headlining tour held the third spot with $88 million, trailed by Britney Spears ($82.5 million), AC/DC ($77.9 million), Kenny, Jonas Brothers ($69.8 million), Dave Matthews Band ($56.9 million), Fleetwood Mac ($54.5 million) and Metallica ($53.4 million).

That's why Kenny should have received the entertainer of the year award rather then Taylor Swift, who unfortunately did not make the list.

Overall country singers I do believe Kenny has one one of the best voices to be heard. Many other singers do also but he is one of my favorites. I have to disagree with the life he is letting himself live but I do love the music he sings. All the best Kenny, remember you are loved by many!

Oh...I do LOVE you Kenny !!!! I too think you should have definitely won Entertainer of the Year !!! You deserved it way over anyone else...I do like Taylor Swift but she just hasn't quite earned it yet in my opinion !! She gets many many votes from the kids...and lets face it...they are the ones who spend all day voting. Kenny you ROCK and you will always have my vote !!!! I will miss your tour in 2010...I have a Tshirt collection from every concert you ever did !!
