Jennifer Hanson Gets Digital

Jennifer Hanson will release her new album, Thankful, on June 3. Don't look for it in record stores, though -- for the time being, it'll be available for sale only by digital download. "She has a solid Internet presence, and we as a label feel the best way to market her new music is by capitalizing on this awareness," explained Fletcher Foster, GM and Senior VP at Jennifer's label, Universal Records South. Jennifer's biggest solo hit so far was "Beautiful Goodbye," which reached No. 16 in 2003, and she has co-written hits for The Wreckers ("Leave the Pieces") and Bucky Covington ("A Different World"). The current single from Thankful, "73," is available now. You can hear that song, as well as more of Jennifer's music, at her MySpace page.
