Jason Aldean Celebrates Twice

The afternoon-long celebration began on the rooftop of the BMI building, where one of the song's co-writers, Jim Collins, was honored. The party featured a green motif and appropriate fare like mini-cheeseburgers and bags of popcorn. Before the event, Jason met with members of the Nashville music media. "To say that this has been my biggest song is probably an understatement," Jason noted. "If you can get a song to stay No. 1 for two weeks, that's unbelievable. Four weeks [at No. 1] is a rare thing." Jason added that he will begin working on a new album later this year. Following the BMI event, a second party was held at the ASCAP building for co-writer David Lee Murphy.
